We use music as a way to learn and appropriate every tool needed for audiovisual media. We put extra effort to produce almost everything internally, even when it comes to things peripheral to music writing. We are working in a collegial way, and every creative or logistic decision is subjected to vote. Obviously, we all have our own preferences and technical affinities, which help deciding on the leader for each task, but no choice is made against the collective opinion.
Every song is the result of several collective improvisation sessions, recorded and then reworked on a shared Guitar Pro file, accessible to all. Because of this, none can be labelled as "written by X" as they are the product of a group effort, which has been challenged many times.
Open-source software have been privileged. We are working on Ubuntu Studio, and use Ardour as DAW, complemented by Calf for monitoring capabilities. Our universes, stories, and lyrics are stored and organized on a private wiki, and many organizational tasks are held thanks to the tools from Framasoft.
